When a Property Needs More Than Routine Cleaning

Some cleanup situations require specialized knowledge because the material involved can pose biological hazards. Blood, bodily fluids, infectious materials, and other contaminants should be handled using appropriate protective measures and remediation procedures. Bio Recovery offers professional biohazard cleanup in Colorado Springs, Colorado, helping property owners manage these circumstances without having to take on the risks and technical demands of the cleanup themselves.

Every project starts with understanding the property and the contamination involved. Our technicians identify affected areas, consider the materials that may have been exposed, and determine an appropriate course of action. Bio Recovery has more than 25 years of experience in biohazard remediation, and our technicians use established OSHA and EPA practices when carrying out professional cleanup and decontamination work.

From Assessment to Decontamination

There is no universal formula for treating a biohazard scene. The appropriate remediation process depends on the type of contamination, the materials involved, and the extent to which the surrounding environment has been affected.

Our technicians can establish containment where necessary, remove materials that cannot be adequately restored, and disinfect affected surfaces using professional products. Specialized equipment, including HEPA filtration systems, may be incorporated depending on the conditions at the property. Biohazardous waste is also handled separately from ordinary trash and managed through appropriate disposal procedures.

Once the remediation work has been completed, the property is reviewed to determine whether additional attention is necessary. ATP testing and other verification techniques may be used as part of the assessment process. This layered approach allows our technicians to evaluate the results of the cleanup rather than relying solely on the visual appearance of the property.
