A representative will walk you through the process when you contact us. But as a general run down, in the first step will ask questions and for photos of the property and damages to generate an insurance estimate and prep the team with necessary equipment and supplies for their arrival. We'll ask questions such as the square footage of the home and how long the body (or decomposition matter) was unattended to assess the full scope of the situation. Once all this information is collected we'll begin to craft a SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) document that you will read and authorize prior to beginning the cleanup.

We'll also collect insurance information to verify policy coverage and limits. These incidents are generally covered by insurance.

Our crews arrive in unmarked vans in appropriate PPE with necessary cleaning equipment and supplies. We'll enter the home and take more photos, including photos of any additional hazards not previously seen. Any additional hazards will be explained to you and added to the SOP, or Standard Operating Procedure document.

Photos and notes taken at this stage are used for insurance, administrative, and restoration purposes.

After documenting the damages, our crew will then begin to test the area. The area is tested using ATP monitoring. ATP tests use cotton swabs, so no residue or harmful bio is spread. Results are immediate and very reliable.

The crew then treats the affected areas using non allergenic hospital grade botanical germicides that are rated by the EPA.

Harmful house odors, like from traces of an improper decomposition cleanup, require professional assessment. Our professionally licensed biohazard remediation team is trained to test for traces of decomposition and professionally disinfect the affected areas.

We treat the areas of your home as if we were treating our own. Aerosols risk the possibility of extending a contamination throughout the area, so instead we use sprays registered by the EPA.

We use hospital grade disinfectants registered by the EPA. Our sprays are free of ammonia, petrochemicals, and synthetic fragrances. Our disinfectant is powerful and remains active in organic material, leaving no surface residue, unlike other disinfectants.

Safety is the #1 priority of our workers and customers. Depending on the home's condition and how long the decomposition has been left to seep, certain areas may require demolition to test and treat. Using photos taken in the initial assessment, the technicians restore areas back to original condition prior to contamination.

The area is then retested. Once passing, all debris is removed, and all work areas are disinfected.

As a final step, we touch base with you to ensure our services have been completed to your satisfaction. We continue to work with the insurance provider in this step as well.
